The Dachshund Derby originated at SoCal Wienerfest in 2018. Each year since, weenies have come from far and wide to show off how fast their little legs can run on the sand. Although every wiener is a winner, only one can be the fastest ween in the west!

Due to overwhelming interest, and in order to keep racer selection as fair as possible, we will be hosting a lottery system for selecting racers for the big event. Lottery entries are open until September 20, 2024.
